The Beginning of a New Era...

So today marks the beginning of a new era... I am finally determined to put words into action and fully make the transition from drift fan to drifter. However, first let me give you a little background info on myself. My name is Marcus, I first got interested in the sport of drifting while I was working at radio shack back in 2004, a year after graduating high school. My boss at the time was a pretty intense anime fan and having a little anime exposure myself from Toonami, we often would discuss various anime. Well one day as fate would have it, he brought up Initial D, he talked it up so much that I got hooked. I got on ebay (remember this was back in '04 before YouTube prominence) and bought the box set of the first season (or stage as it's called). After that I was cemented in the drift scene as a fan at least. Some time after that I bought a nissan 200sx (S12) that was beyond repair. Then around 2008 I bought a 1982 Ford Mustang GL (4 cyl) for 500 bucks. I bought that car because I always knew I wanted to drift myself, and cheap cars with a FR layout become more scarce everyday. Another reason why I bought the mustang was because of Geoff Chandler and all the folks at Drift50.com (now DriftLive.com), a site that was all about how to drift foxbody stangs. Sadly, the Stanger has been siting in my driveway for the past 5 years while I have been getting married, having a baby, and trying to finish up on my engineering degree, but no more collecting rust... Project: Mustang D-Spec has begun.
